This Easter I’ll be cycling from Brussels to Amsterdam! The plan is to take on a 280km route that follows cycle paths all the way through Antwerp, Breda, Dordrecht, Gouda (cheese fans rejoice) and ultimately Amsterdam. Training begins next week alongside the continuous development of Bounceback Food. Let’s do this! X

259.1 miles, 6 punctures and 2 minor crashes…but we made it. It was a brilliant trip and, quite miraculously, the weather held too: Avenue Verte is much, much better on the French side. Parts of the route on the English side were questionable: Hopefully over time the whole route can be brought up to the same … More London to Paris: We made it!
It’s been a long final weekend of training. On Friday we had a dress rehearsal ride to Alnwick and back which involved a brief encounter with an electric fence, getting used to (falling off) my new clip pedals and riding in rush hour dusk. The distance covered was roughly the same as London to Newhaven: … More There Is Always Hope
Earlier this week I came across the work of Daniel Crooks, an Australian artist who edits footage to create distortions in time. This still is from his video Static No. 12 (Seek Stillness in Movement). Pretty inspiring stuff. I love how the slit scanning casts light on the intricacies of a martial art synonymous with tranquility. … More Seek Stillness In Movement
