In 2015 I cycled from Brussels to Amsterdam to raise money for Manchester’s Royal Eye Hospital. The hospital provides an extensive range of eye services for both adults and children. I had first hand experience of their expertise following my diagnosis and subsequent treatment for acanthomoeba. I am eternally grateful to their team of staff who minimised my vision loss.
